In Town Without My Car Day

Last Friday we went to the strand for in town without my car day. There was a show with bike stunts. And everything was free there were face panting,you got to ride on a bike, there was a bouncey castle, a quiz and you could winslapy things or a bell most of us got both and free car stikers.And some of us went in the exibition it was free aswell.And at 6 oclock it was at st gorges road but we didnt go.

Castle Drogo

It was a lovely day. We were on are way to a place called castle drogo.We had been looking foward to thistrip and it had finally came.on the way some people felt sick but luckily mrs.Bater had some magic news paper so if we were sick we were sick on the news paper. Finally we arrived. we all had a snack at the entrance while we were waiting to go in. First we looked at the gardens,one was a jungle type garden and one was a lovely wide fancy type garden.Then we scetched the castle. We then had are lunch, there was a park so we played in there for a little while. Sophie fell of one of the climbing frame though.After lunch we decided to go and have a
little look at the castle.Then the man let us in. we saw the spare room, the toilet,the bathroom,the libary and so much more. When we got out the castle it was time to go back to school. So we thanked the man and then set of. on the way back we had to sit on magic newspaper if we felt sick, finally we got back and it was time to go home.

We are the children in 5B and we are superb! We are going to tell you all about the exciting things that happen to us this year. Next week we are going to Castle Drogo. We are also looking forward to the London trip in March.
